Al-Houthi Sends Messages to Iraqi Government and Sudan’s Regime

Head of the Supreme Revolutionary Committee, Mohammad Ali al-Houthi, has called upon the Iraqi government and the Iraqi army to keep Iraq free by taking a firm stand and “move hard”, in response to Trump’s unannounced visit to Iraq on Wednesday.
“To keep Iraq free, I support what the Iraqi Resistance Movement has said, and I call on them to take a firm stand on what Trump has said,” al-Houthi stated.
Mohammad Ali al-Houthi also expressed his support for the Iraqi Resistance Movement (Al-Nujaba’) in a tweet on Wednesday.
“I call on the Popular Mobilisation Forces and factions in Iraq to move in force,” al-Houthi added.
He stressed that the US is the first culprit, by planning, implementing and supporting terrorists, of the Iraqis that were martyred and sacrificed during fighting with ISIS in Mosul.
On Wednesday, US President Donald Trump said he had no intention of withdrawing from Iraq, saying he could use Iraq as a base if “we want to do something in Syria.”
On the other hand, al-Houthi has called on the Sudanese regime to compel its soldiers to stop the killing in Sudan, as well as to stop sending them to Yemen, and to stop forcing the Sudanese people to choose whether to be killed in Sudan or in Yemen.
“Or else [the Sudanese people] starve to death because of expenses and suffering,” al-Houthi added.
He also commented on Amnesty International’s statement, which said that the Sudanese regime of President Omar al-Bashir is responsible for the killing of 37 Sudanese protesters.
Al-Bashir, who is wanted by an international court on suspicion of war crimes, has made his people choose only on whether to be killed in Sudan or in Yemen as mercenaries, Mohammad al-Houthi remarked.
“Therefore, we advise the Sudan regime -instead of obliging hospitals for treatment [of the many wounded resulting from the crackdown on protests] – to oblige its soldiers to stop the killing in Sudan, to stop sending them to Yemen, and to provide a budget for a treatment in order to alleviate the crisis.
He further called on Sudan regime to let the people enjoy and eat of their goods not to shirk, for what has been made of their suffering.”
