Al-Houthi: “Rejection of humanitarian exchange deal for prisoners expose the terrorism of USA, Saudi Arabia and the UAE”

The head of Supreme Revolutionary Committee Mohammad Ali al-Houthi called for the formation of an international committee to protect prisoners’ rights after the Red Cross failed to protect their rights.

Al-Houthi said on his Twitter page that the rejection of the coalition of the humanitarian exchange deal, which was presented through the United Nations to exchange a Saudi prisoner with our prisoners who suffering from disease or wounds and do not have health care in the countries of coalition, expose the terrorism of America, Saudi Arabia and the UAE and their alliance which is contrary to international and humanitarian law.

National Committee for Captives’ Affairs said on Friday that it informed the Saudi side through the Office of the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to Yemen that one of the Saudi captives is sick and his condition is worsening.

The committee offered the Saudi side an urgent deal for the captive in exchange for releasing a number of wounded captives and that the operation would be carried out through the United Nations.
