Saudi-led coalition leaves Yemeni childern dead, wounded in Yemen

A child on Wednesday was killed by coalition -paid fighters sniper in Attohayta district of the western province of Hodeidah, YemenExtra Net correspondent reported.

The forces of the coalition continue to violate the Hodeidah agreement by targeting, this morning, with mortars and medium machine guns Hays city in the province.

Reporting earlier this month, Yemen’s al-Masirah television network said two youngsters had been killed and a third wounded when the paid fighters bombed their home in a village in the southwestern province of Dhale.

It added that another child had died after the paid fighters opened fire throughout residential areas in the al-Hali District of the coastal province of al-Hudaydah.

Last month, Local sources, speaking on condition of anonymity, told YemenExtra  that the warplanes struck a petroleum derivatives plant in the Mawiyah district of the province on Friday afternoon, leaving nine people dead and several others injured.

Coalition fighter jets conducted the aerial assault against a vehicle as it was traveling along a road in the Mustaba district of the province on Monday afternoon, leaving four people dead and eleven others injured, unnamed local sources told YemenExtra.

In March 2015, the US -backed –Saudi-led coalition started  a war against Yemen with the declared aim of crushing the Houthi Ansarullah movement, who had taken over from the staunch Riyadh ally and fugitive former president Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, while also seeking to secure the Saudi border with its southern neighbor. Three years and over 600,000 dead and injured Yemeni people and  prevented the patients from travelling abroad for treatment and blocked the entry of medicine into the war-torn country, the war has yielded little to that effect.

Despite the coalition claims that it is bombing the positions of the Ansarullah fighters, Saudi bombers are flattening residential areas and civilian infrastructures.

More than 2,200 others have died of cholera, and the crisis has triggered what the United Nations has described as the world’s worst humanitarian disaster.
