Yemenis hit a coalition’s camp in southern Yemen

The Air Force and Rocketry Force of the Yemeni army forces carried out ,Thursday, a joint operation hittingthe Al-Jalaa camp of the troops and paid fighters in the southern part of the country.

The spokesman of the Armed Forces, Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e said in a brief statement that “the joint operation targeted a military parade of the invaders and mercenaries, hitting it accurately.”, adding “the military parade was targeted by a Qasef-2K drone and an undisclosed medium-range ballistic missile,” , and confirming that the operation resulted in the death and injury of dozens of troops and their paid fighters, including leaders, and caused a great confusion in their side.

He pointed out that “the targeted military parade was preparing to crawl and escalate towards the Army and Committees sites in the provinces of Al-Dhalea and Taiz.”

In March 2015, the US -backed –Saudi-led coalition started  a war against Yemen with the declared aim of crushing the Houthi Ansarullah movement, who had taken over from the staunch Riyadh ally and fugitive former president Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, while also seeking to secure the Saudi border with its southern neighbor. Three years and over 600,000 dead and injured Yemeni people and  prevented the patients from travelling abroad for treatment and blocked the entry of medicine into the war-torn country, the war has yielded little to that effect.

Despite the coalition claims that it is bombing the positions of the Ansarullah fighters, Saudi bombers are flattening residential areas and civilian infrastructures.

More than 2,200 others have died of cholera, and the crisis has triggered what the United Nations has described as the world’s worst humanitarian disaster.
