Trump seriously considers moving US embassy to occupied Jerusalem: Tillerson

US Vice President Mike Pence stated an audience that US President Donald Trump was seriously considering transferring the US embassy in Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, during a reception at the White House on Tuesday, in recognition of Israel’s 69th Independence Day.

 “As we speak, Trump is giving serious consideration to move the American embassy in Tel Aviv to Jerusalem”, Pence said.

He continue that Trump is “also personally committed to resolving Israeli-Palestinian conflict,” adding that his administration was “making valuable progress toward the noble goal of peace.”

Pence’s comments come a day before Trump is due to host Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas at the White House.
