“Sayyed Khamenei to Lebanon: ‘Your Pain Is Our Pain, Your Struggle Is Ours’”
Iran’s Supreme Leader, Sayyed Ali Khamenei, has expressed unwavering solidarity with the Lebanese nation and its resistance, emphasizing their shared struggle and unity in the face of ongoing Israeli aggression.
“We are not separated from you. We are with you. We are one entity together. We share your pains, sufferings, and tribulations. Your pain is our pain, your suffering is our suffering,” Sayyed Khamenei stated in a message delivered by Iranian religious eulogist Meysam Motiee.
Motiee, visiting Lebanon as part of the Iran-e Hamdel (“Sympathetic Iran”) campaign, traveled with a team of activists to support Lebanon’s resilient population and deliver humanitarian aid collected through public donations across Iran. The initiative aims to assist those affected by the devastating Israeli attacks on Gaza and Lebanon.
Since October 2023, Israel’s two-front military aggression has resulted in the deaths of at least 43,922 people in Gaza and 3,516 in Lebanon, with countless others injured. The relentless assaults have displaced nearly the entire population of Gaza and over 20% of Lebanon’s residents, creating a catastrophic humanitarian crisis.
Resistance groups across the region have responded with retaliatory strikes on Israeli targets, vowing to persist in their efforts until the aggression ceases. Sayyed Khamenei’s message underscores Iran’s commitment to supporting Lebanon and Palestine, reaffirming the shared bond in their fight against oppression.
