Palestinian Child and Young Man Killed by Israeli Forces in Jenin
Israeli occupation forces fatally shot a Palestinian child and a young man in the town of Ya’bad, southwest of Jenin, on Sunday evening, according to Palestinian sources.
The victims were identified as Mohammad Rabi’ Jamal Hamarsheh, 16, and Ahmad Mahmoud Zaid, 20. Both were struck by explosive bullets, a weapon prohibited under international law, during clashes with Israeli forces, the Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed.
Hospitals in Jenin received the two victims in critical condition, but both succumbed to their injuries shortly after arrival, the Ministry reported in a statement.
The incident marks another deadly escalation in the West Bank, drawing attention to the intensifying violence and the use of prohibited weaponry against civilians.
