Mohammed Ali al-Houthi: Trump’s Release Of Attack Footage Is An Attempt To Evade Responsibility

US President Trump’s description of the crime — the strike on a tribal meeting during Eid — as ‘preemptive’ is evidence of American intelligence failure, said Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, a member of the Supreme Political Council.

Mohammed Ali al-Houthi stated that the video Trump posted—along with the positioning of the civilians—exposes the false nature of his claims, adding, “The footage he shared clearly captures the deliberate targeting of a civilian Eid gathering.”

He affirmed that the U.S. targeting Eid gatherings demonstrates America’s terrorism, calling it a “heinous terrorist crime that only brings shame and disgrace to the criminal Trump.”

He argued that Trump’s release of the attack footage was an attempt to avoid accountability for the crime by preemptively spreading a false narrative, while also using it to claim success against Pentagon officials and others who criticized the US aggression in Yemen.

Al-Houthi emphasized that Americas bombing and targeting of civilian sites and other locations in Yemen are “condemned war crimes and unjustified terrorism.”

He added, “The American aggression on Yemen is a criminal act in support of Israel’s criminal genocide in Gaza, confirming the similarity of their hearts—and thus their identical unlawful actions.”
